hey up just thought id pop a couple of pics up of my clubby while im rebuilding it.

lol yeah i absolutely love em! they fill the arches better then the old 6 x 10 gb's too. must have a slightly different offset.

lol thanks for a nice replies, yeah flip front is A pannels too, ive had one the other way and i got pissed off with how the arches looked, i cut them first time and left them whole second time but they tended to get broken when the front end was off, the only problem with this one is you can tend to get the A pannels caught behind the brackets if your trying to put it on by yourself. but it looks a lot neater and thats what i was after realy.

steve, i have small skinny hands, but as i am maxed out trying to get mine ready for minis v beetles too, i cant help mate!

for the clevis pins, i used one of the telescopic rod things with a tiny magnet on the end to get mine started, twas a god send. "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

ah good idea! never thought of that sure i have one of them somewhere. oh cheers stu that would be a godsend if i cant find any this morning mate, lol i work on a building site so not much scope to borrow electrical components! can get the odd brick or piece of wood, maybe a nice ash block or two. it sucks realy!

lol thanks stu, managed to get another female connector block and pins from maplins so if all else fails i might see you at minis v beetles and nick a little bit of wire for the crank sensor wires if i may, ive managed to get round the other wires by mounting the edis unit next to the megajolt and just using the stub ends from the edis to the jolt.

Where did you get the front end? I'd like to rebuild BIR1 to Clubbie spec myself... On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

its all steel pannels vegard, the origional clubby front had taken a bit of a knock when i got it so we just lopped the whole lot off and got the panels from minispares north,

lol glad to hear it mate, just about managed to get the crank sensor bracket made for mine today with the aid of my mate ben, just got to wire up the rest of it now and refit the ancileries tomorrow and it should be alive again, wont be drivable but just to hear it cough into life on the megajolt would be nice!

you will find it will rev a lot smoother on the megajolt too. you opening the plug gaps up?????? balls to the blower!!!

lol aint got a clue what im doing with any of it yet. just got some leads that look long enough to do what i want with it, and some addapters to mate them to the coil pack, so will have to see what happens!

. got a a couple of spare molex connectors too. you will have to come down and get them tho. i got a mass setting up session planned tomorrow so will be fiddling all day
