is the method and values for shimming the diff plates in the Haynes ok for turbo's?

The preload on the diff bearings is the same regardless of engine spec etc.

I can't comment specifically on the haynes method as I haven't got it to hand, but I think it would be accurate. Personally I have always used the method in the David Vizard book.

cool, got eveything out to do the job (which is one of the lasts job before i can finally put the engine back in) and i'm missing the bloody bolts from one of the plates, grrr
