If everyone who has a paddle clutch or knows what there like to drive could help me out here with there opinon on this would be great.
Whats a paddle clutch like to drive with an organic plate for road use and how do they compare in drivablitly to a stadardish set up?

Dave said to me the other day opinons are like aresholes every ones got one! lol But the more opinions i get the more representative conclusion i can draw!

Thanks
Mark

The paddle clutch is the plate.
I have driven one for 6 years now, use the grey diaphragm with it and its just a bit heavier than normal.
Stay off the clutch pedal as much as possible though or youll knacker your thrusts.
Paul

I seriously doubt it!

leeds/wakefield.

the run of the mill paddle plates for the A series are all cerametalic, with individual pads ,
i use the 7 1/4" solid sentered plate in my fronyt engine as an experimental piece, and AP paddle in the rear.
the solid disk is far lighter than any paddle plate currently available for the A series, which means the man at AP was talking crap when he said there was no difference in there enertia,

a LIL fishing village on the coast - Newcastle Upon Tyne

i used to run a sintered paddle with as i recall an orange diaphagm and it was on/off pretty heavy, but it was for offroad use. as paul says, use the grey diaphagm with paddle plate you should be ok, unless you have an anorexic leg that is weak as piss *wink*
