Hi

Just had the engine re-installed. I have a boost gauge fitted,
how can i tell if the ECU is working?
Are there anyways of telling if the ECU is connected up by checking anything under the bonnet? eg, wires etc?

well, it'll boost to around 4psi until something like 4500rpm, when it'll rise to 7psi...
If it stays constant - something ins wrong.

Just put a switch on the bleed solinoid,for 3 or 7 psi at the flick of a switch

might not be the best idea if its in a metro

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

I'm still running it in, and haven't pushed it past 4500rpm yet, so I'll have to check out what maximum boost is once I've got some miles on it.

always thought the ecu controled more in the metro ??.. is it not linked to the neon`s aswell ?

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....
