The one between the front of the battery box and the inner arch...




They look to me like they'd be better removed as they seem to be a naughty water-trap.

I seem to recall, the factory rammed a piece of webbing between the subframe and these plates. Any ideas why? Sound deadening / reducing resonance maybe?

Thoughts on removing them? Good, bad, don't care?*laughing*

I think it was where the factory put those rubber/sponge pieces in an attempt to stop resonance on the boot floor. Al they used to do was hold moisture though, and be a nice rust trap !
