Wanted turbo but problems

Hi

Im a noob first post yay, well basicly i liked the idea of a turbo on the mini so i did some research, i have a mini metro A+ 1310 motor 1989 and after talking to someone he said i need to

change my pistons to decompressed pistons, change my head to a decompressed head, change my gear box.

this is even bofore i get the turbo parts so is this correct, it seems so expensive but ooo well any help would be great on my situation and what to do

But is there anything i can do about the piston situation??

and with the head do i need to have a decompressed head or a decompressed turbo head??

they are the same heads except the very early turbo 940 castings which had a thiner deck height if iam correct!

if you are using 214N stainless race valves in the exaust then things are fine

if the pistons will make the grade??
ask on the help section give the guys the spec of them including number etc

if they do? make the grade then de beak the head inorder to lower the CR ratio for you to run more boost
