Got my car in mini world again this month from a local RR shootout back in october. Bit of a poo result but it was only @ 7psi and in desperate need of a tune up. Just wish they hadn't printed such a huge pic of me aswell though On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

Kind of. i took it back to that chap in erdington more for a diagnostics than a proper tune-up. It's highlighted a few things i need to get sorted, like rebuilding the carb, putting a restrictor in the fuel line cos i cant get the pressure to drop below 3.6psi. the actuator needs sorting aswell cos the boost is spiking up to 10psi and then settling at 7psi. just lots of little jobs really. made 120banana's and 138lb/ft though even with it all being to piss :) On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

yeah it'll do until i put the engine into my proper clubby shell. then i can fix it into place right behind the grille for max airflow. I've got a temp sensor to fit at some point so i can see if its doing it job properly. On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

Nice work mate, i should have been at that shoot out my name was down but alas the bloody thing stopped working a two days before with a phatom fuel problem.
It was like that when i got there! |
