Hi guys,

What a great subject for a first post! Just wondered if anybody else had been stitched up by a guy called Jason Holmes in Clacton-on-Sea? Possibly trades as Atlantis Mini Centre and his address is 25, Alvis Avenue.

He was advertising a used T3 in the classifieds of the December 2005 issue of Mini Magazine (it was the one with the Smoke Grey MkI racer on the cover).

Agreed on a price of £75 including postage and sent him a cheque. Cheque is duly cashed and no turbo arrives. Call him and get the 'I will send it out Friday' excuse. Call again and it's now 'been sent out'. Days pass and he's 'going to kick some arses down the post office' and call me. He doesn't, and his phone is now permanently switched off.

Yep, total tosser. Reason I need to know is that I'm following up the advice of Trading Standards and will shortly be reporting pikey Jason to the police. So, if he has taken anyone else's cash I'd be pleased to know.

You have his address? This calls for him to be signed up for all kinds of junk mail, porno journals / catalogues, anything that has a coupon from the Daily sport, visa applications, loan applications, hell, even stick a 'dog egg' in a jiffy bag and send that his way....

He'll regret it... Especially if you do the 'porno' thing, as he'll continue to get this for the next 100 years!

yay! thats mine

however that was on the day i finished it originally 3 years ago on the thur before avon park, then the motor went pop.

it currently doesnt wear the grill but im hoping to get that back on this year

go with daves advice

the internet is a great place to start to get all that junk mail flowing.*wink*

i would make it a mission for the next 12 months every day apply for at least 20 junk mails

send him Gay mags porno etc*laughing*
