i sand blasted mine and it came up like new.sand would be better than bead cause it gets right into every little crevice. as for painting it i've never come across a paint that really stands up to the temps. of an ex. manifold let alone a turbo one!!! |

May aswell paint it to start with. Black exhaust paint seems to last longer for me. Got some high temp stuff from an exhaust manufacturer. Edited by iain on 2nd Mar, 2004. |

keep me posted on this heat proof paint, as i've tryed things in the past and they don't last as the manifold on mine glows nearly all the time the paint just don't last. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

Why not get it hot aluminium coated?? Seems to be all the rage as it dissipates heat better and doesn't discolour like chrome... |
