^^ on a mini? really!?

Yeh but this ones quite bad.

My mini has now started to loose oil at an alarming rate.

It seems to be coming from the rear of the engine somewhere but i can't locate it.

I have oil according to the dipstick. I have a decent pressure.

My oil feed feed pipe has chaffed but its not leaking (ian at avonbar is sending me a new one!!. i do have a steady drip from the gearbox but this does not appear to be in the right place for the leak.

It also appears to be worse when i'm moving leaving a large puddle every 15 or so yards.(depending on speed etc etc)

Any ideas or am i being thick!?

Matt

It was like that when i got there!

Resident Cylinder Head Modifier

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

my money on one or both of these

the remote gear link oil seal or....

the diff out put oil seals these can all be changed with the engine in.

the diff output oil seal i bet its the one on the drivers side as this goes hard because of the heat of the exaust clamp where its bolted to the side of the seal
