I installed my bulkhead box some years ago, well before I knew of the internet, let alone this site.

Anyway, I did it as best I knew at the time, but when I saw a few other converted cars I saw that maybe I had left the corner in too much.

It used to look like this-



However I wanted to try the engine in first to see if I had space, it turns out I did not and could not get the air filter pipe in there.

So today I did this-



Which will hopefully create all the space required! As I took the picture the paint was still tacky, so I will wait while it has gone off before I trial fit everything.....


So just a hint to anyone else who is going to do theirs, leave plenty of room in this area!

do you use the top engine steady bar on the thermostat housing side

looks good work done there.

jimmy , what i've done (and many i guess) have welded the engine steady braket on as you cut some of the bolt holes away.
