yep caught her all started today after lot of farting about tring to get her timed so i could start her.
plenty of oil pressure and oil on the floor as the oil gauge pipe wasnt done up properly!!!!!!.

the dizzy always seems to have very little swing unless i get the locking bolt behind the elec unit on the dizzy which gives me plenty of swing to get her started ( is just a barsted to do up ).

but other than that all seemed fine but a touch of blue coming from the exhaust which should hopefully clear once she gets a good run under her belt.

well what i did i do this year.

started with chambering the head out to 24cc which will still only give me 9.4 to1 cr instaed of 9.8. didnt help to have 19.5 cc chambers to bloody start with realy.

fitted my old 276 cam to see what the difference will be for the same boost or simalar boost to old cam which i have to say was a excellant cam in many repects on the driving front, but was still well short of that little scrot t3tones supurb 1380 ( see this months mini mag we are all in it incuding the kids).

fitted a old but decent genuine layshaft, 2nd gear bearing, and first motion shaft bearing.

flowed out exhaust manifold a bit plus took out excess metal in the elbow.

thats about it realy just cant wait now for the first rolling road session of the year to see how its all come together.

hope to run a max of 12 psi (ouch) with det cans on 24 deg advance to see how she runs. and see how many mega big buches of bannanas i get!!!!!!!!!!!.
