"possibly" a scam, but maybe not?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

New to Ebay, no feedback, yahoo email addy, no pics, bidders not disclosed and selling 2 very expensive lots and on the isle of Man

Myself and 2 others that i will not disclose have been mailing this guy, one is even a local to him. The local guy is not getting any mails in return when our man cleary states he wants to come and have a look before bidding.

The guy is also offering a price off ebay for £1100 for a used once £3kish new engine and another £1100 for a quoted 15K of snap on tools?

When i informed him that i would be bidding and if i was the auction winner i would personally collect the item i got a reply saying that he would not be able to meet me?...Odd?...

I have kept all the mails if anyone would like then forwarding?

Just a warning, this is probably a very nice gentleman but things in my opinion do not seem to add up.

Please if anyone knows who won this item to let us in very very close knit community of Mini owners know how you got on??

Will post link on MINIFINITY, can other people registered on other MINI forums please make a link to here.

Many thanks.

Jon.
