after having some helpful feedback on the work i have done on my bulkhead box i am now thinking i need to modify it a little more
AFTER I HAVE ALREADY PAINTED IT .......BUGGER

any chance some of you could post some pictures on here of your bulkheads

it would be very helpful

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

it makes all the difference to getting the air hose on. I've been there!! *happy*

cant take the credit for it, freind of mine cut and welded it in, its an avonbar box. When i put the engine in is when i realised just why everyone makes a fuss about the diagonal section - the space is pretty tight!

do i get a prize for digging up a 3 nearly 4yr old thread :p

I looked on this site for ages for box photos and most links are broken, so its only fair I now make my contribution after fitting it this weekend.

Slightly different approach :

Weber air box and a 3 inch extension fitted to an Avonbar bulkhead box.

Don't be fooled by the pop rivets, it's all seam welded then fitted with a layer of flame retardant material and covered in ali sheet.

Loads of clearance around the actuator and inlet hose.
