Anyone know who i can contact with regards to being able to convert my engine into being able to drive in a mini?.... as in converting the driveshaft etc

i think he needs some help on making the gtti drivetrain compatible with the minis suspension etc

ive not done anything like this before, but if i were you, id get in touch with the companies who offer off the shelf conversions, like the honda or vaux, and see how they make theirs up, or find out who does it for them.

or, you could make up some 'cut and shut' ones....get the engine in place first, cut the shafts so you have half of each, sleeve them.

Then you could take them to an engineering company to make up a proper set...

www.16vminiclub.com and make use of the (rather good) search function :) theres a good few solutions to driveshaft issues, as well as good info with regards makign frames :)
