Believe it or not this is a job that I have never done.

Obviously all I have to do is tap them in.

But any tips or advice that I might not know about having not learnt by experiance.

Pretty simple as you suspected. I removed the old ones, cleaned the block slightly with some fine sandpaper and tapped the new ones home using a suitably sized socket. I know some people put some loctite on the edge of the plug when fitting to make a good seal.
