Greetings. I'm about to venture into my very first turbo install. I bought the lump used over 2 years ago off of eBay (might have been from someone on here, actually!). Valve cover has plate on it in gold that reads Wolfspeed. Had a NA Howley intake manifold on it as well.

I've bench tested it, finally. With regular 1.5" carb first. Ran fine.

Cleaned up the the carb, installed it on a metro turbo log manifold, bench tested it without plenum and it ran but smokey/rich.

Compression test: 125-112-112-125

Anyway, this is fair enough info to risk an install for now, even if only temporary.

I'll have a zillion questions, so I apologize in advance for my tendency to be verbose and less than to-the-point.

Oh, I'm in Southern California (and I never remember to check for private messages on message boards like this)
