I would imagne to stop the clamp starting blowing.....

In a mini - and assuming you have poly-bushed / Hard rubbers in your engine steady and the 'ultimate' one; then I'm pretty sure you won't need the balljoint. An LCB doesn't have one afterall.

wheres the best place to source a flexible downpipe elbow desparatly need one. 1/4 mile in....??
