Ey up....

Bought on of these for my latest project off Ebay....

Super cheap, Well made, even greased the threads and has a lockable grub screw for locking set boost.

Not connected any way financially just happy with a super "must have" turbo product at a good price.

Not that keen on these TBH. Better to have one with a valve that only cracks when the desired pressure has been reached, much better wastegate control and more torque. Cheap enough though.

Example please dude.
I have one simuler to that, it can with the enigne, I had no idea what it was, or how it plumbs in/works

Example...

Basically it goes between the turbo and the actuator.....

It bleeds off presure to fool the actuator....realy simple, no tricks.

Bleed valves are 100% reliable with no moving parts. Those ones are also VERY high flow units (i know - I've got one that i paid £30 for a good few years ago)...
As mentioned - that is a VERY cheap price....

a bit off topic but how does an under bonnet bleed valve differ from an in-car one?

They have a thread on them so they can be screwed up on a dash, lots of types on the market.

My valve is cable tied on the hand brake for quick adjustment.

i have one similar to this.
MBC cracks at the desired pressure i beleive and jimmy used one on his mini and we dident like it would hold 4 psi untill 9psi was available and then bang, all at once full boost. the bleed valve was much nicer in both our opinions. tho i tried the MBC and the bleed valve on my nova and oculdent notice a difference for some strange reason :S

A price cannot be cheap. It's high or low. A product on the other hand may very well be cheap. Or expensive of course *tongue*
