Okey doke. I've ordered an Ultimate Engine Steady for the top of the Metro Turbo engine.

Do I need any other extra engine steadies/braces?

If I fit the engine initially without any extra braces (i.e. just using the standard Mini ones) will I be able to run it ok unti lI can get to a welders to get any necessary extra braces/steadies welded in?

I have yet to learn how to weld *blush*

I have the Mini Spares Adjustable to engine steady on mine and i use the mini spares Right hand side lower gear box steady

You'll be fine with the standard setup mate aslong as they're in good nick and your not running too much power.

The bracket's only a 5 min welding job really so id be tempted to get one made up and just get somebody to weld it in. *happy*

Cool - the engine's staying standard for the mo, other than possibly a dump valve.
