my turbos been up and running for a couple of months now and hopefully ive sorted my teething probs(fingures crossed)
but ive never driven another mini turbo or been in one so i would appriciate it if some of you could let me know if some of these things a normal
1) when turbos on full blow and i come of the gas i get a dump valve whoooossssing type noise (not dead loud)all though im running totally standard
2)when the engines hot and i turn it off if i go back to start it up after about 15 to 30 mins it takes a while of cranking to get it going
3)oh and it seems to torque steer quite a lot under hard acceleration, which makes me laugh quite alot and i dont think 13 by 7jj wheels help?
at the moment these are the only 3 things i can think of and although there not big probs id like to know whether something needs loking at or are they pretty normal?
many thanks
carl *smiley*

1. pop off valve in plemum chamber , releasing boost which no where to go as butterfly in carb is shut.
2. heat soak in carb from hot turbo , cranking is pumping cold fuel in , until it fires , make sure heat slield is fitted, got some holes in bonnett to allow hot air out, or live with it.
3. 13x7`s not good , check off set of wheels and get front end set up , ie castor + chamber.

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....
