forget the turbos, superchargers, vtec etc in the quest for more power! i was at halfords the other day and got chatting to a guy there who owns a mini, he told me about his mate with a 1380 mini with.... 300bhp and revs to 11,000rpm!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! i had to restrain my self! what a loser!
why do people come up with such bullshit?

Ahh motor world.

I went in wanting an oil filter too, woman tried to convince me that I had a turbo diesel as metro turbo wasn't listed. I can't imagine metro turbo diesel was listed either. Stupid bitch.

lol, the last time i used one of my local motor factors they tried to convince me that minis didnt have ball joints, they told me i meant knuckle joints and said they didnt have any in stock anyway......

So many buffoons in the world (especially MOTOR world!)

One of the main reasons I began building my Mini turbo is because I was considering doing it, and a mates dad said it wasn't possible, I couldn't do it, and it wouldn't work.

OK, its taken me 6 years so far, but when it is done, I am going to take that mates dad out in it and scare the living sh1t out of him.......

One of my favorites is when someone asks what its got under the bonnet, you reply (something like, its bored out to 1380 and got a stage 3 head and rally cam, you know a fairly non descript answer)

and thay say you should have just put a V8 in instead.....
