1275 metro/mini engine needed, inc gearbox etc!

Hey all
rite my engine decided to give up on the motorway last night and im in a propper pickle as i no for sure the engine has had it!
So i am looking for an engine, has to be 1275 or of the like and pref metro but mini wud b kewl!
I dont wanna spend too much (unless any of u have one cluttering up ya garage and maby wanna give it away hehe)
Any help wud b gr8 and im willing to pick it up 2!

I might be able to help - i have an engine - missing carb and clutch and clutch casing. Its done about 75k miles we think.

Its an A+ Engine origionally from a metro, it has an MG metro Head and Cam shaft. And it includes a gearbox (unknown diff, never looked to be honest.)

I've got a 1275 metro engine that i've just taken out to make way for the 1380 n/a i've got. It runs really well, and there was'nt any smoke on start up or at idle, or on load.

According to the engine number its a metro HLE engine from '88 i think, its got 1.5" SU with pancake, and daytona inlet, i've also got a 3 branch if its needed.

Couldn't tell you the mileage as the car it came from had a new speedo that was never corrected and i never got much paperwork to help verify the mileage.

Gearbox is fine aswell, although the i think the rod selector seal is leaking a little. Was hoping for about ?150, let me know if you tempted?
