Yes if you have a decent mg metro camshaft in stock that would be a good one to use, the standard metro turbo camshaft is the same as a normal 1275 metro.

As the turbo acts as a silencer most people only use a single box exhaust, 2" bore size.

thanks for your link. Very insteresting

Do you know which pistons i must use to bore up my turbo engine to 1293? i think they are not the same than a ordinary 1275....

Where do you install the T2 turbo, without the specific installation kit?
On the left of the engine or behind it like the original? I will try to build a systeme myself, because i think the kit of miragemotorsport is to expensive.

Do someone has documentation or link whith the head and engine cotations??
Thanks

for a lowish power engine, circa 120bhp i'd say you'd get away with a good condition box for a good number of miles. i'd also std drops would be fine.
Diff must be in good condition as well and i'd replace for a cross pin for security.

hi,
some friends of mine says me that the original gearbox isn't a good idéa.
Do you drive with it? No problem?

I will try to place my t2 turbo on the left of the engine with a modified manifold. Wait and see....

Not a lot really. slightly lower CR, increase in boost, good intercooler and you should be there. A cam change may be preferable.

Everything needs to be in good shape though to be able to use the power on a regular basis reliably

Main part of the equation is having it all set up properly! *smiley*
