what about the machining that needs to be done to get the holes to line up and also dont you need metro drive flanges?

Having just serviced the brakes on my Mum's Fiesta this afternoon, I'm tempted to give the conversion a go, but I've got several silly questions I want to get sorted in my head before I start, I suppose it's best to check.

I presume the caplipers used in the conversion are the ones fitted to all post 95 Fiestas? (The hole spacing on the hubs appears to be the same as on the Mini)

My Mum's Fiesta is fitted with vented discs as opposed to solid discs shown in the how to link, I take it that you can turn Metro turbo discs down to 7.9" without any problems?

Will I get away with putting the old Mini brakes of the Fiesta (Joke)

Off to look through my bits box to see if I've still got my old metro drive flanges.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

mambas are always a problem, but i dont have the caliper setups to check my stock of mambas over them. Mambas varied a lot over their 30 or so year production run. i cant see their being a problem with some of the later ones which are very skimpy.

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie
