Well up until this morning I was fairly confident that my girlfriends VW Polo, built from girders and with a measly 1.0 litre engine was probably the slowest car on the road.

lol try a TATA loadbeta pickup with a full compliment of sand! dont think it managed more than 40mph on the A roads! i managed 70 once, but it took the entire m62 from leeds to hull and when i got home the track rod end fell off!. was built like a brick tho. 2 tons of best indian craftsmanship!
doh! why did i start messing with it!

I had an old 950cc fiesta for when my mini was off the road. Was an awesome car....slow, ugly and pathetic, but great fun cos you could just abuse it. I couldnt kill it no matter how hard I tried, ended up selling it for a fiver to a scaghead. ohhhh happy days!! my first modified car was a mk1 fiesta supersport 1600 xr2 engine 40's bcf2 cam ,mint, lowered, and for its time went like a bat out of hell lent it to a sensible driver friend of mine and he came back with it on a tow truck flat as a pancake near great somerford he had clipped a kerb and rolled it a couple of time ending up on his side in a pertol station fourcourt his excuse was it sounded so nice he opened it up a bit and lost control we never spoke again Edited by wolfie on 14th Mar, 2006.
