Right guys,

I've finally got round to stripping my old turbo engine (the black cars 120 bananananana lump)...

The HG is a AF470, I thought I had fitted a BK450.

Visually they look very similar! Whats the difference between the two?

Also the compressed volume is 3.68cc, which sounds about right to me.. does it to you?

The only difference between the bk450 and af470 that im aware of is the special sealing ring for the rocker oil supply on the af470. I thought the compressed volume for both was 2.8cc!!

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

how did you come to this measurement alex?

if just measuring an old gasket then it would be a lot thicker than when under compression *smiley*

sure you've thought of that but thought id ask *smiley*
