Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

as long as the friction face & ring gear is made of steel!

i cant see a problem,

having said that there are some on the market where the steel friction surface is bolted to the ally
IMO the counter sinking reqs a shade more!
these flywheels are short lived

i still prefer the swifttune flywheel! & value for money/ my choice would be this

link here ...http://www.swiftune.co.uk/index.htm

look around their website

Near Daventry, midlands

swiftune certainly have pulled some good stuff out of the bag, if i were building my current NA engine again i'd be spending a couple of grand with them

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

ben, but seing as that flywheel is CG on there site we'll assume its nat available yet, ,unlike SH who show a fhoto ,and mine of course.

or if i was a complete sceptic i might suggest swifty has plagerised it from SH.

have a gander on the SH website ,either they are both getting there psarts from the same cnc shop or one of them is bullshitting,
ansd from the pics iv'e seen of SHs place ,it looks even more aincient then mine.

and while i'm at it , here's one for you ben,
suppose you buy a new car and after 40,000 miles the clutch packs in ,you take it too the dealer and he says ,yes the clutch is f--ked , you'll have to buy a new car to get over it, but its only the bloody clutch thats buggered i here you say , yes it is but it makes the whole car useless,
its the same with one piece flywheels,,one part fooks and its curtains, not the same with modular flywheels, any one part can be replaced thus prolonging its life indeffinatly,

have i made my point ,lol.

thye don't use alloy centre bosses, they use verto items, easily replacable if any fretting occurs.
i change mine everytime the flywheel comes off as they stretch .

,

your catching on,
my good friend Ian jonson fit a spanking mss ultralight and it bsadly fretted withing a few meetrings,[buggered].
but fortunatly i can machine them to accept verto centres so alls not lost ,
but the SH and swifty virtual one wouls almost certainly be scrapped if the taper took danage,as there nothing left to machine, out.
i have lots of points [mostly inapropriate]lol

Bit lost with CG & SK!
But I agree Swifty's flywheel looks very similar to SH eng's one (Slaphead). SH's one is £400 again £250 for Swifty's (supposedly in stock now)
