Well, I've got Friday & Monday booked off work so now have a 4 day stretch to work on the Mini :) |

I assume you're going to be fitting the metro brakes onto mini hubs? One of our cars had metro hubs and we had them changed to mini ones. |

Yup. I've been told that the Metro callipers & discs will just fit straight onto the Mini bits and all I'll need is to angle grind the wheel-locating off and use a brake-line adaptor kit.

You'll need ERA caliper bolts too :)

Do I definitely need these calliper bolts? Won't the standard Mini ones or the standard Metro Turbo ones do the job?

LOL typical, eh? Have just spoken to Minispares and ordered the requisite 4 bolts at ?3+VAT each. Cheers for the help guys! :)

better you got it sorted now then with the wheels off thinking why are my calipers loose!

LMAO. Like I said - wait for the news reports of a Mini doing 110 down the M61 with no wheels and engulfed in a ball of flame! |
