Somewhere around Swindon

to Jon who gave up his wednesday to help me build up my short block
couldent get it done due to a oversight on my part and my local motorfactor supplying the wrong bearings and an aftermarket vernier timing gear that just would not fit but jon still went out his way for me

hopfully by tuesday i can get the wrong and faulty parts replaced then get stuck into it again

yep spent 3 + hrs on the vernier timing gears with a bit of emery in order to try and get the crap to fit
in the end had to call it a day, with the problems ive had with my back it was a great help

bit like your 4 pin diff wolfie i spent the best part of 1 1/2 hours just get the f@cking thing apart let alone rebuild it, also had to grind the old inner trace of the diff whell as that wouldnt bloody come off neather must be somthing to do with you wolfie old mate lol.


buy the way those sc gears are quality mate, better than the clubman set, at least you can a sutiable sized tool throught the whole to press in the plungers rather than using a peice of stainless steel wire.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

but the 4 pin diff was brand new? in a sealed box?
