Looking round for an insurnce quote for when my Mini is done.


I'll be 21 by the time its finished.

Who are you insured by?
How much is your premium?
How much No claims do you have?
Any convictions?


Looking at average prices, so if I could get as many quotes as possable :)

HIC
at 21 it was £600, all mods declared agreed value
with 1yrs no claims
3 points and a claim which was classed as my fault

22 its only £300 with the same details

hi mate,
got insured with H.I.C when i was 19, 2 years no claims was about £550, they've got a fair allowance for mods aswell which was good.
best i found.

Classic policy, £224 fully comp everything declared,26 yrs of age with 3 points and 6000 limited miles.

Well like I said, I'll be 21 by the time my Turbo is on the road.

It'll have classic cobra seats up front, and a leather rear seat, nothing reall mod'd, apart from bigger wheels, lowered, sports exharust and an intercooler.

I think what might help is I will only be doing about 1500miles per year in this Mini :)

22years old, 0 ncb, 2 crashes, 3 points.. £364 with HIC, fully comp, all mods declared.

Wow thats quite a spec sheet!
I presume as Nic's I know has a fast motor, HIC would be the first point of call.

lucky you, they wanted £2200 on my stad mini van when i was 19, i cant even get insured on my pickup with them

they just dont like me

I used to work for them too... if i had my discount, I could of had 25% off :p But it was a crap job
