Yeah looks like grp to me. Someone trying to pull the wool over someones eyes!

Carbon doesn't always come in a weave to give its strength though, the strands need to be arranged in the direction the strength is required, for most body panels strength is required in all directions hence the woven matting.

Q: do u have any close up pictures of the dashboard at all? i didn't think carbon was clear its normally a blacky grey. Many thanks tony

A: thanks for message when i said its clear i ment the gel coat, you can see the carbon through the gel coat ie. showing weave
