TBH most peeps on here are NOT keen at ALL on hammerite on their cars (me included)

Yes, I am afraid I agree with Ben, the only use for Hammerite os on engine blocks, on most other surfaces it seems to allow water to seep underneath it and rust beneath it!

tbh mate, i have done the whole underside of mini in smooth silver and it looks top. the arches i used smooth white then sprayed over the top and that was fine.
