If it's got the RB26, isn't it fairly obvious what it is???? On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

i like r33's over the r32's but its seems they have fallen into the price ranges of the local chavs Crystal Sound Audio said:

No, You mean clever japanese engine designers who know that there is no reason anyone would ever need to lift the head because the engine was made that well anyway... LOL On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

Bollocks. Those engines eat pistons for breakfast AND lunch! On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

I believe its the most tunable lump out of the skylines, hence why its put in the better looking R34 for big power. -MINI CLUBMAN 1380 TURBO- |

That right Dave these engine are so well made, how many engines can you get 550 bhp out of that will last all day long and to VERY reliable. And that's with out touching any or the internals! Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

I've seen som many with ruined pistons. If it's the pistons failt or engine management I have no idea. Might be young stupid owners as well. I just know I wouldn't be caught dead in something like a SX200. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

Yes the R34s are more aggressive looking with there bolder styling, there are 2 wheel drive unill they need more grip then some power is put to the front wheels Edited by Miniwilliams on 24th Mar, 2006. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

i think the rb26 is prob one of the best engineered engines ever, can be tuned to nearly 500bhp per litre not much comes close to that |

All 2 litre four valve engines do 500bhp per litre with sufficient boost. Take a look at the 4cyl BMW M3 2,3/2,5 engines. Now THAT is a nice engine. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
