What crank is a 12g1505a?? I suspect its old!!

I've been measuring my collection today lol

Also, just to confirm...

Which part number is considered to be the "turbo crank" ??

Don't know about the other one, but the "Turbo" crank no. is 6581.

thats a 'GT' crank, as fitted to Non S, Non A+ 1275 engines. These cranks use a 1.75" BE and can be restroked more than a std A+ crank, making them worth more than a std A+ crank (they are rare nowedays, particularly in std/std form). En16T same as the rest of the stock crankshafts afaik.

or it would be perfect for my short stroke project!

It might be worth hanging onto to thou..

IIRC the mains are -10 thou and the bigs -20

aye nearly finished my shortie now aswell, all good stuff.

Give simon a ring, he maybe able to give you more info on the re-stroking possabilities of the re-ground crank, im sure you'll still get more out of it than a bodged A+ one thats for sure.
