I avoided ebay for a long time cos I believed it was hassle, but I have had a dabble and unfortunately I think I may have a problem already :(

I won some estate boot board support panels on the 19th March, and paid for them by Paypal 5 minutes after the auction ended. I asked the seller to let me know when they were posted but I heard absolutely nothing from them since the end of the auction.

The seller has received a dozen or so positive feedbacks since the 19th, including one from a friend who paid by cheque and received goods with no problems. I sent a a second request asking them to to get in touch but I've heard nothing.

I realise there could be a good reason, but the seller is obviously active and I'm a bit frustrated as it appears I'm being ignored. Am I being to impatient? How long should I wait before I raise a dispute for unrecieved goods?

Thanks

Neil

Give the seller the benefit of the doubt for another week I'd say. Viewing it from the other side, I have myself previously sold things on ebay, and then for one reason or another not been able to post them for some time.

However, the lack of even an email to confirm receipt of payment is a bit shoddy.

Somewhere around Swindon

its only been just over a week i wouldent worry until it gets to about 3 weeks, stay calm and send a couple of nicely written emails asking when the items will be sent as you are desperate for them

Try logging into your ebay account and send message via the contact member button.

Sometimes people dont check their email and only log in to ebay at work.

Hope it works out so far ive been lucky with ebay.

Had a reply finally, and there was a good reason for him not getting in touch.

Just me worrying and being impatient I think *blush*

he will of been trying to beat bf_maz1 by the least possible amount. obviously doesnt realise that ebay automatically does that for you once you enter a larger bid.

why dont people to just bid what they are willing to pay and leave it at that?

I have seen me biding a few times because when I don’t have a high enough bid I sometimes throw caution to the wind and bid more than I wanted, sometimes a fair bit more. I get cough up in the auction excitement.
