hello, i posted this on the vintage mini racing forum but just thought i'd get more opinions; i have a safety devices 6 point cage with door and dash bars but was thinking of adding a few more tubes for safety. From what i've read i should use ERW tubing is this right? any tips? and lastly where cam i buy this from in the uk? is it ok to use different types of steel safely? thanks, gav |

you want to use a cold drawn seamless steel tube. Try elmdon metals as they do a tube off the shelf that meets with the minimum msa standards for roll cages. http://www.elmdonmetals.ltd.uk/ |
