hello was just wondering if i could pick your brains on this subject, is the general idea big is better? i need to get an elbow made up for a t25 but dont know whether to use one pipe or two as per jims i think, ie one pipe from the exhaust housing not 2 into one? any thoughts? cheers, gav

ha ha, nope havent seen my car since december and the engine hasnt arrived yet but have been hoarding bits so expect it very soon....

I think i'd go for bigger is beter...the one larger pipe....my reasoning would be that its least restrictive.
Im halfway through making my exhaust straight through with 2 1/2inch pipe.
Backpressure is supposed to be important but who knows...you arent going to know if it is beter or not until you drive it.

have spoke to mirage who are happy to make me a custom elbow but was thinking i might be able to get away with a 200sx unit, i think however it points in the wrong direction http://streetpower.se/catalog/images/DownpipeFrontpipe.jpg maybe i could cut and re-weld it what do you think?

*oh well* Not seeing how the std cast 200sx elbow would be suitable - the shape/angle etc is so completly not suitable for our cars....
