i've just been having a chat with my father in law about maybe trying to fit a damper to the steering to help reduce torque steer, i personally dont think it would work but wondered what anyone else thought, i know its the driveshaft set up that causes this but?.

Minis in general don't torque steer badly, unless the suspension is not well set up. I'd look into that option of trying to sort it out TBH.
