I have no welder or access to a welder and I have a couple of jobs that need doing *indifferent*

Firstly a bracket needs to be fabricated to hold my actuator. From Nics Mirage Manifold Guide it looks to be a simple job for someone with some skill

This bracket uses two strips of metal welded together to support the actuator and mounts off the cylinder head.

I will then need my wastegates actuator tab moving accross to the other side as the actuator will be moving it from the other side when its mounted on the custom bracket.

Again from Nics guide this is what needs doing:

That is the easy stuff.

Lastly I will need some simple mounts made up for my steering column.

The steering column needs to be supported from the horizontal front bar of the roll cage. I am thinking the best way to do this is as Jimster has mounted his:

I will be more than willing to pay for this fabrication to be done!

I'm sure for a person who is handy with a mig and metal it will only take a couple of hours!

Thanks Guys

Dan

If you can do a drawing of the bracket you want making, with enough dimensions on it make it, I know a man who can.

He could also do the other bits you need, but you'd need to send him the turbo and the rollcage bar as I don't think he'd want to have to move all his fabrication kit etc to come to you and do it.

The wastegate tag is obviously the easy quick one, but I also think the steering column would be doable, you would need to mark on the rollcage bar the centre line of the column, and also scribe a line horizontally to give the orientation on the tube when it is bolted up. Would need a reasonably good drawing and measurements and marking on the tube but certainly possible I'd say.

It is my mate who does the crank pulleys and sensor brackets for me, he has also done an intercooler for Tamnorris. He is based near Stratford on Avon, not far from Coventry, so that may help with getting the parts to him.

yea I can help for beer money, if you can trailer it down to Endaf and myself, we'll sort it out.

Endaf said you called him in the week, pop down for some beers and get some work on your car done at the same time.

Yea it sounds good on paper cause i could tie it into picking up my tank from him.

But I have no trailer and even if I did I do not have a tow car at the moment....

So sadly I dont think I can take it anywhere.

Surely Some beer tokens over to the Flanmeister will secure his trailer - and steal/beg/borrow a towcar from somewhere...

"there's always a way"...

when you picking up your tank? if its a weekend or easter i could meet you there so my bracket could be copied

can you not measure up the lengths and angles you need for the steering column bracket, and take the pipe over?
