hey all i'm from new zealand and have a 1980 gt clubman just finished new eng and dyno'd at 198 hp at 12 psi it's a 1360 intercooler oil cooler metro box w 3.444 diff (to be replaced with 2.9 if i can find one) and lumpy cam not shuer but was in a 1380 race car so yeah thats my car ,out of intrest what hp do outhers get out of there touboed minis??

Well I get nowhere near 198bhp, more like 120 (its only 998cc though). I've heard of Turbo minis with 200bhp before but I think most of the fast guys on this forum would claim about 160ish. (am I right).

Not sure about your cam though. Turbo engines usually work better with a very mild cam with a small overlap (not lumpy). I'm guessing it's rubbish below about 5000rpm?

I did watch Good Bye Pork Pie last week though, just thought I'd mention it as it's an NZ film with a Mini in it.

I wish i had that on 12 psi! :)

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....
