I saw in wanted section a mini for sale which had minisport 4 pots and mambas, i didnt think mambas would go under 4 pots. Ill be getting some minispares ones, is there any size differences between the minisport and minispares ones?

Also these were 10x5 will the 10x6 fit under the brakes too or is there a difference?

Thanks alot, hope its in the right area.

there are 2 differnet sorts of mambas- old school and new school

old school ones have valves poking up vertically, and mamba cast in around the centres

New school have valves facing outwards

the alloy 4 pots on 7.5's will go under newschool rims, but theres no chance on old school ones

i dont know, but i dont think they will go under 5"'s either

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Thats not good, are the pics you posted up some you have or not? If so what brakes do you run up front and do only one set fit?

Would love to have a set of mambas but starting to worry that they wont fit.

Do you have to have a spacer to fit them or not? Also where did you get them from, they look good.

no spacers

the new ones were sold by mws and minispares about 6 or 7 years ago, but i believe they are no longer available, i got them from a guy who had them in his wardrobe for 6 years

do you really need 4 pots? will an S setup be suffice with mintex pads?

Well im getting a set of 4 pots soon off a friend running blackstuff pads with all the stuff, awaiting pictures of them though.

Id rather be sure that i have enough stopping power for the future than have to upgrade again.

Near Daventry, midlands

i have to disagree with your interpretation on new and old their nic, nowt personal :)

i have about 20-30 mambas now in various different sizes etc, but i dont have time to go into detail. I'll get some pics of my ones and i'll go over what i've found.

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

hmmm i only speak from my experience

the ones without cast in mamba are remanufactured ones from a few years back, the other ones are much older

the grey ones fit over 4 pots, and are the same as the ones on that car for sale

and the gold ones have no chance
