hello, with the mirage kit does the exhaust elbow bolt straight up to the maniflow system or the standard metro one, or do you have to fabricate something yourselves? also do you think i'll be ok with a 3" diameter exhaust system or is this too big? thanks, gav |

The mirage kit accepts a 2" pipe down near the gear linkage.. I used a playmini system, the link pipe drops right in

Well the bigger pressure differential across the turbo the better, but remember that it will still be 2" from the turbo and the downpipe, and only get bigger where your exhaust connects.

the mirage kit comes with a downpipe, so you just clamp it to your 2" mid pipe and back box |

nope one end fits snug on the turbo then where it should mate with the centre pipe it flares out so we had to "bodge" it. That is the way it came when i ordered it from mirage Whats going to break next!?

As Nic and Sumpnut say it should be a nice fit onto your mid pipe. Can you measure the sizes accurately, there's no way it left here flared to 3". If there is a problem, send it back to me and i'll have a look and sort it if there is. |

Its ok it'll probably turn out my centre pipe was smaller than i thought. Not really in a position to measure exhaust diameters at the minute. Whats going to break next!?
