Hi all

Bit of advice really.

Ive been thinking about organising a charity event, basically had a bit of feedback and a few people interested (inc sponsers).

It will be in aid of a new childrens ward opening at the hospital. (swindon)

Basically the plan was to get a load of mini, start in swindon, drive to bristol, via every town on route, then drive back to swindon via a completly different set of towns. (will be all country roads).

Then i was going to have a meet with things to do in a large field.

Now ive got a way with words so can sweet talk my way out of a paper bag.

basically, do i have to ask permission of all the land owners where we will be stopping, the local council's and the police??

is there anything else i should take into cosideration?

Land ownders I should think would want to know. As far as police are concerned, you could be in trouble just for organising something like this, can't remember what it's called. You need to word it like the Riviera run do, we're going here and then, you can come with us...

i was going to involve the police aswell. there normally ok with you if you do it ligitimatly, if not then ill think of a way around it. ideally though i want over 100 cars!!!
