When you refer to mini arm i assume you mean the arm that pivots on the flywheel housing?

Try bleeding it again i had a similar problem with clutch not engaging after a thorough bleed it was ok.

Whats going to break next!?

If you are using the metro clutch you need to use the metro short arm and slave

Venom ,

I 'ASSUME' you have a mini aleady working with the long-arm setup with the slave mounted horizontally?
If so - this is a Pre-verto.
I'm now ALSO assuming that you've puchased a metro engine which is sat somewhere in you garage - ie NOT in the mini.
This unit has the cable slave setup as you comment.

Well - If you want this to work in yout mini, you need to puchase a Short Verto arm, a Verto pushrod, a verto slave and hose and a verto slave bracket, along with some short 3/8 UNC bolts, and a long 1/4" UNF bolt and some tube to make up a spacer.

Easiest option in my opinion; find a complete cover on ebay (or put an ad in the wanted section)...

This guid might help:
