Well im new to the site and ive done a search but got a feeling i did the wrong critera as i did not find what i wanted so ive created a topic.

It depends how long it is going to be before you can afford to insure the turbo.

have you got a qui=ote to insure it? mine was only £76 more than the 998 engine |

Well the car will have been used every day to and from work. Same with the turbo car, will use that every day but have a backup engine just in case.

£80 extra from a 998 to a 1275 is bloody reasonable in my opinion.

O i know that, i just mean i dont want to say im doing a turbo as it will make insurance a bit too high. |

Yeah i might be acually, but i think ill use the 1293 NA engine for a year because by the end of that year ill have enough for a more beefy build which will include a SC box stuff like that.
