Thought it was about time i got some pictures upload (thanks for the help iain). This will eventually be my turbo monster, but for the time being i've popped in a n/a 1380. Just got it running after it being stood for 9 yrs!! Changed a few seals and cleaned up a few bits and pieces, struggling at the minute as the engine dies when it comes on load with part throttle, but i've just put another dizzy in as the vac advance was leaking on the old one!

First picture is the engine that was in when i bought the car (metro HLE) which seemed to go quite well, but i had the 1380 sat in the corner which i need to prove so in it went, which you can see in the 2nd picture.





Hopefully it willl all be back on the road legally in time for the rolling road day on good friday (fingers crossed!!!)

Definitely not going to be making it to the rolling road now, as the car needs more welding than i originally thought, at least i got the engine running nicely with the new needle. Quite impressed with the NA1380, it will be a good gap filler until i can get the turbo all sorted!!
