As the T2 is water cooled, would it be of any advantage to put a heater element for further cooling before the Turbo obviously in the air stream to cool it further? I'm know expert, But just an idea.

i'm still currently in the process of building, but i will be using a side mounted 2 core. Just thought that the heater element in place just before the water inlet pipe of the turbo would help keep the turbo even cooler helping to prolong the life of the turbo at high boost. 1310 - Supercharged 16v Twin Cam - 190BHP - SC Built.
