im going to try and use metal fuel line this time instead of rubber piping through the car, does anyone have any photos of theirs?

I was really impressed by turbodaves stainless fuel lines.

Im using a MPI tank, and ive never used copper piping before. Is 5/16 close enough to 8mm?

I think i will run two rubber 8mm pipes down from the top of the tank and under the boot floor (with a fuel filter in the boot) and then im going to try and run the copper pipe along the floorpans where the original 6mm line is, is this what everyone does?

Ive seen these clips are they what you use?

Also is this fuel line any good?

Will 25ft be too short?

Im going to run it up behind the front subframe and then join it to rubber 8mm hose again. Ill put the input into the regulator, and ill use a 8mm - 10mm adapter for the return on the regulator if thats right

Any help really really appreciated i cant find many photos of peoples fuel lines.

I did post up a part number of some Steel fuel line from Ford a few weeks back - AF was supposed to be checking it out?
Maybe if you have a ford dealer nearby, you can take the part number in and get a price quote yourself?

I suspect if that is indeed 'brake pipe' tubing, then the ID will be pretty small - and hence unsuitable. If you use steel - at least you know the ID is going to be plenty large.

The rubber-backed steel P-clips are the ONLY way to secure fuel line IMO.

25ft is plenty to do the job.

oh - and that is a really good price on the rubber lined P-clips. Buy two packs. Cheapest I can find them for over here is $7 for 10 + postage.
