hi! i think it was tom that said you can paint engines with hamerite? I want mine black and im just going to go degrease with gunk degreaser. Ive fully sanded all the old paint off and its down to metal.

Yes its fine, I've used it a few times. Worth giving it a couple of coats.

just one thing with the hammerite. dont touch it when the engine first gets hot. i found it goes soft but after cooling it cures really well.

Not to big with the holes think of the spanners they may get in and harm your hamster. |
